Right Brain vs Left Brain Creativity Test

Being creative or artistic doesn’t mean you know how to draw or play an instrument. Being creative is a way of thinking, a way of viewing the world.

Creative people use the RIGHT side of their brains more than the LEFT. Take the test and find out if your brain is RIGHT for a creative career.

Port A Pizzeria

I forgot to mention that not only did Paul go above and beyond in the service area but also the pizza was some of the best pizza we have ever eaten. The next day we went back to eat pizza from their all you can eat pizza buffet. Yum!

Port Aransas

My daughter, my 3 granddaughters and I have just returned from a wonderful ladies vacation at the beach.  It was my 4th trip to Port Aransas. Each time we have gone to Port A we have stayed at a different hotel/motel. Always looking for a nicer place to stay at an affordable price. This time we stayed at the Seashell Resort. What a wonderful place! Clean, well maintained and reasonably priced.

We all had a wonderful time! Lots of sun, salt water and sand. Unfortunately, we also had a little car trouble. One afternoon I was out on the beach with the granddaughters and my daughter, Lara, went into town to get lunch for all of us.

She bought a delicious pizza at Port A Pizza. Went to the car and it wouldn’t start. The restaurant has deliver service to the beach available, so Lara took a piece out of the pizza and had the remainder delivered to us. The manager, Paul (perhaps the owner, I don’t know) came to the rescue by helping with the car problem. He cleaned the battery posts and jump-started our car. Paul also recommended an honest mechanic to look at the car to make sure that we wouldn’t get stuck somewhere out in the middle of nowhere on our way home.

The auto repair business was called Tom’s Automotive. He changed out one battery cable and we were back starting and running again for under $40.00.

We were blessed by the amazing folks we had helping us! Thanks Paul and Tom, your our vacation heros!!!

First Post

Summer art classes are now history. Our great little artists painted acrylic landscapes "ala prima", that means all at once. We didn't draw first then paint, we just began with the paint and the brushes. Their pictures turned out fantastic!

Our next art classes will begin the second week in September. They will be after school classes from 4:30 to 5:30 pm
